Drove from Munich Airport in c. 2 hours, to find a good class resort a mile outside the pretty town of Oberstaufen. Good facilities, pleasant & helpful staff & quality food from both the Italian-styled restaurant & the more traditional bistro. Stayed at this hotel for 10 nights with husband and 4 children. Had 2 rooms located opposite each other - both were excellent in every way. Lovely breakfasts served in large dining room. Oberstaufen is located about 45 minutes from Lake Konstanz/Bodensee and not far at all from the Austrian border.
