We stayed here over New Year 2009/10. It's a delightful hotel very close to the centre of beautiful Andermatt. It looks, inside and out, like a typical Swiss chalet. The rooms are reasonably sized and have a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is good buffet style food and the dinners were excellent. We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel beginning of september, the hotel was beautiful, the work the owners have done in totally refurbishing it is amazing. The owners were charming, room was full of character and well fitted. The owners try and source all food locally, and endeavour to be very green, very commendable. We rented double rooms with a river view and it was superbly swissly decorated, the roar of the river was fantastic, but could keep light sleepers awake. Rooms were very clean, good service in English, the breakfast was not too adventurous but we ate in the restaurant below for lunch and dinner, and it was very good indeed. Great location... more
