My friends and I arrived a little later than intended in late afternoon and as this was their first visit, I am pleased that everything at check-in went smoothly and our bags were soon in our respective rooms. We had a Christening reception at the Devonshire Arms and it was fantastic. The service was impeccable, food delicious (and very reasonably priced) in a lovely room with crisp white tablecloths in beautiful surroundings. Nothing could be faulted. more
