When we arrived, we were offered coffee with hot, homemade scones in the library. Fantastic. The room was well equipped with everything you would need for a night away. It even had underfloor heating. During our weekend stay at the Strand house, we were well looked after. Tom and Ernestine, the proprietors, were extremely helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived.
