We live quite locally and eat here once or twice a year - an anniversary, and the occasional ad hoc visit. I guess the fact that we have returned several times says something. We stayed at Haddon Grove Cottages for Christmas, really nice cottages with all amenities, but FREEZING cold.it was minus 8 outside, one heater in our cottage was broken, and we never got the temperature above 14 in the main room. We visited Bakewell and stayed in Lathkill, 1 of the 8 Bolehill Farm Cottages. The cottage was very cute, clean, spacious and it had all the appliances that you would need in a house.
