The location was OK as we enjoyed the general area especially Malahide. We rented a car, but took the train into Dublin. We do recommend catching the train in Malahide and riding into Dublin. I stayed again last week and this hotel is excellent. It is ,in my opinion, one of the few hotels left where staff care and it has a real sense of hospitality. We last visited this hotel 2 years ago during the 6 nations rugby season. At that time, the Welsh team were residing and the atmosphere in the hotel was great.
