Ghost hotel, No paid view & Unhelpful staff. Arrived at 8:30pm to find a locked hotel. After the kind help of a café owner (under the hotel) hotel staff where contacted and we got into the hotel. The key was left on the bar, as hotel was managed from another location cross the lake (so we then discovered). It was... more

After a grave disappointment caused by another local hotel, hotel Seehotel Schwan put a smile back on our faces. Lake facing room on the second floor, nice restaurant and helpful staff (had a nice family run feel). Would be more than happy to stay their again. more

Seehotel Schwan has a great location in Gmunden overlooking the lake. But that's all you gonna get. The hotel looks like the owner has not invested in it since the early 1980's. You can find hundreds of better places to stay in Austria for the same money. more
