Rather than go through all the details of our trip we'll offer some tips and thoughts. General Tips: 1) Arriving at Airport - After going through customs go directly outside where the taxis and buses are. Do NOT talk to anyone. There are about 1,000 timeshare people in white shirts harassing visitors. They impersonate travel agents, bus tours and hotel... more

My wife and I just returned yesterday from Ceiba del Mar. Our experience was a bit atypical as we were affected by hurricane Ida. The weather was overcast and rainy the entire time we were there!
