We stayed at Hayman for 3 nights in early November. Having been there for our honeymoon, we wanted to return and took some friends (a married couple) with us. Hayman is not cheap and for the very expensive 'launch' transfer, I expected a launch. We got a hired catamaran from Whitsunday Adventures + a sandwich and a drink. Strike one.... more

Everything about Hayman Island is excellent especially the staff. You feel completely relaxed and welcome from the moment you board the boat. I've never been anywhere with friendlier or more helpful staff... everyone was pleasantly outgoing, professional and genuine in their accommodating attitude. The food was excellent, the pools were excellent, the beach was excellent. What more could you want? more

From the moment we stepped off the Jetstar flight onto Hamilton Island, the Hayman experience began ! No need to worry about collecting our bags, as the Hayman staff took care of that for us and we were offered a refreshing drink, which given the 30 plus degrees, was most welcome - particularly the champagne !
