My wife & I stayed overnight at the zoo safari lodge on the 11/11/08 and had a great time. the lodge type accomadation was comfortable & clean. Cattleman's Country Motor Inn

Although the service was great, the rooms were definitely not 4 star (hard beds, sparse and outdated furniture, limited toiletries) and the $16.50 breakfast was not worth half of that. We stayed two nights and on the second day we went to McDonald's instead. The location is convenient, but I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're spending very minimal time... more

Do not pass through Dubbo without stopping at the cattlemans country motel. The cattlemans is always a highlight for myself on business trips and my family members also stay there when travelling the length of the Newell highway.
