We found this motel a big disappointment. We usually stay at the Motor Inn across the road but unfortunately it was full. The Parkes International was noisy, shabby, and expensive for what it was. A ram sale in Dubbo, where we had intended to stay, meant that all accomodation in Dubbo was booked out. A 2:30am arrival in Parkes with nothing pre-booked wasn't looking good.
