It is a nice place but if your a back packer you get treated like an animal at best, staying in below par hostels and paying way above average prices for the right to do so. These hostels will get you work though which is good if you have no form of transport, however they take out 10 -20 %... more

We stayed at this motel for 2 nights and the food both dinner and breakfast were nothing but the best. Front desk staff were very helpfull and went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. we stayed overnight on a drive to Townsville. the reception staff were lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. There was absolutley no mould in the shower which you often find in other motels. We ordered breakfast to our room and it was very nice and plenty of it. we normally stay in more expensive hotels... more
