My husband and I stayed one night at Platypus Bush Camp. We had originally planned to camp elsewhere, but heavy rains came in and we opted to take a hut at this place so we wouldn't have to keep setting up and breaking down our tent in the rain. My family & I spent a few nights at Mountain Edge Escape and we really enjoyed our holiday, the views are amazing! The cabins are clean and tidy and very well supplied. We stayed in a Basic Queen Room. Service was delivered with typical Mackay friendliness. The bed had clean fresh linen, and was comfortable. The room was farily clean. The carpet in our room was spotty and could use replacement, and the small mirror in the bathroom appeared scratched (though next door's seemed better).
