We stopped at the Katherine Hot Springs in Nov 09 .. The water was lovely and warm and the area was very popular with backpackers and locals all enjoying a dip .. The trees above the springs were loaded with fruitbats which gave the water a "funky Fruity " smell .. Dont let the smell put you off ... Was... more

I regularly overnight to katherine for business - and have tried all of the hotels. Paraway is my preferred hotel due to: natural light in rooms, secure gated facility for cars and rooms!, location - next to town and also next to the Katherine Club for dinner. I only ever stay here now! more

We originally booked a 2, 1 bedroom cabins as we were travelling with friends. We booked the cabins as we wanted the cooking facilities for breakfast mainly.
