We phoned the resort and got a price for an ocean view apartment as we had family from the UK over and we went right over the plan of the 3 towers and settled with an ocean room. We arrived Friday night and could see that we wer in the wrong tower and without an ocean view. I phoned reception... more

Upon arrival hotel is quite impressive and staff friendly. Being December day of arrival was very hot only to find aircon in living and two bedrooms didn't seem to be working. Next morning after 2nd request was informed that aircon was indeed not working and would not be fixed for the duration of our stay - this was obviously known... more

Stayed her for one night on final evening of road trip from Cairns to Brisbane on basis that in UK Crowne Plaza has a great reputation. Hotel quite remote, 15 minutes drive from Caloundra though a series of roundabouts. Booked in by totally incompetent receptionist who seemed clueless to what he was doing and ended up somehow blocking my credit... more
