Went there for two nights to participate in a conference at one of the universities. The hotel is a charmless three-floor building from the 80's, where rooms and corridors are in need for a remake. Lobby, bar and restaurant is in better shape with nice and attentive staff. Location is good, just between the large centre blocks and the port.... more

i have just returned from a months placement in cergy and i loved every moment of it. in fact i loved it so much i am returning on wednesday! it is a really cheap way of seeing paris, you can get a direct train into paris for about 6 euros (return) and it takes about 30 mins. in cergy there... more

Don't be too put off by the cladding coming off the outer walls. It may look a bit crumbling but once you're inside, you're in for a pleasant surprise.
