The town of Cuenca is beautiful, and the Parador is lovely. The location is beautiful, right on the gorge, linked to town by the footbridge. The rooms are updated, but in keeping with the history of the building. We also really enjoyed dinner at Mason Casas Colgadas just across the bridge. I would highly recommend a visit to Cuenca more

At the moment there are very noisy building works directly behind the hotel that start at 8AM on the dot and continue until 6PM, there are digging up the street with pneumatic machines that shake the hotel.
