We were a bit hesitant about booking the Villa Conti because of the lack of reviews. It LOOKED like a nice property, and the prices were much better than the other nice hotels in town, so we went for it. I'm glad we did, because it was a true hidden gem. I stayed here in 2008. Cesky Krumlov is a charming little town and while the hostel has an antiquated homely appeal to it I found it, unfortunately, a little run down and dirty.
