It turned out that the chain has recently opened a new hotel with the same name on the outskirts, that was where we were booked but found the one near the station and they obligingly changed the booking for us. Stayed one night on business en route to Kielce having landed at Katowice Airport past midnight (note the taxi costs 160PLN from the airport to Katowice city centre).
