“Stunning location with the best views of the Danube”

You see the citadel in the distance well before you get there, perched up on the hill, towering over the Danube River and surveying the surrounding hills. What a stunning location. Photography is best done in the afternoon from the riverside town called Nagymaros (opposite Visegrad) when the sun lights up the castle. The castle itself has little to offer... more
