Went to Playa Pesquero for the second week in December, and went with an open mind, because of the mixed reviews. The hotel was nice, I would agree not 5 star but we found it to be very clean and all the staff were lovely, and the surroundings were so beautiful, room was comfortable so couldn't complain! A group of 15 of us stayed for the 1st 2 weeks of Dec. We travelled for my partners 40th and his cousins 40th. we had a fab time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. the weather was great, with only 1 afternoon of rain in our 2nd week. We have just returned on the 15th Dec and was so sorry to be leaving. The beach is really beautiful with the whitest soft sand. The sea is aqua blue and warmer than the pool. Lots going on there canoes, kayaks, wind surfing, snorkling, all FREE! Yes there are the towel brigade going every morning to place their towels, but... more
