In August, we (a couple from Amsterdam and 17 year old son) spent half a week at Hickatee. And it was too short. This wonderful cottage is set back in the "bush" in a small town in the southern side of Belize. The staff of husband and wife are entertaing and informative. But the service and the peace of the cottages made our stay perfect. Fresh tea and bread in the mornings and hikes organized by the hosts were just what we needed.... more

Hickatee cottages was the perfect jungle paradise! Ian and Kate treat there guest as old friends, after a week you feel like family. The cottages themselves are confortable and charming.
