This is a beatiful and very cozy Hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights in January and compared to the hotels we stayed at on Zanzibar, this one offered much more of everything. Lunch and dinner buffet fantastic. No hot water. The staff came to fix the hot water by flusing the toilet and turning on the hot water in the sink as well as in the shower. Still not hot water. Water damage to ceiling in bathroom. Traveled with a group and several people's TV didn't work, others air conditioner didn't work... more

At $120 a night you expect the best. The room was very nice, with Panoramic views, which would be wonderful if Dar was much to look at. The room has TV, hot water and a comfy bed. It was reasonable.
