FInding a restaurant that meets European or American standards in Luanda is difficult. Snack Bar offers a lunch buffet where every item is identifiable and identified. Even by Luanda prices, this hotel is poor value. The service is not good, food mediocre, a hotel in decline. Hopefully the new hotels opening in the next 12 months will provide better service. Not worth the money. more

It's important to mention that Luanda is an astronomically expensive city. So accommodation tends to be horribly pricey and barely adequate. All this is true of the Pensao Caravela.
