Second trip to N'Djamena. Have been to all 3 major hotels in the city, stayed at the Novotel during my previous trip. (A good 2* in comparision). OK, the Kempinski is a little outside the "city centre", like a 15 minute drive.But once you enter the Lobby, you feel lke being in a real hotel. Huge entrance hall, cosy lobby... more

The best to place to eat is the Restaurant des Cèdres. A lebanese restaurant serving fresh, clean and safely reliable food. more

The electricity is often down. No AC outside of room. The food is bad and the service is very poor. Hotel accepts only cash or Amex. Prices are high for what you get. Hotel is far from center. more
