Was iffy on this hotel after reading reviews, but it was a Starwood Category 1 and very cheap using points so I couldn't argue with free. Mara House is by far the best place to stay in Luxor. I’ve been to Egypt several times with groups and stayed at different hotels in Luxor each time, all 5 stars. None of them can hold a candle to Mara House. I was able to completely relax without the hustle and bustle that is experienced at the other hotels... more
