A new hotel just opened a week ago in mid Dec., not only the hotel is new, the whole area (which is a big shopping mall) is still a big construction site, roads outside is still not completed, so you have to expect noise and bad smell in the area, I guess that it should be another one or two... more

We also stayed at the Intercontinental for 1 night before a Yangtze River cruise in November. The hotel is great, the rooms are very large and very comfortable. The location is very close to shops and restaurants. The staff very helpful. It is a very good hotel. I am afraid Chongqing is not so nice but we were only there... more

I was late getting into town because of a delayed flight. I have a HomeInn frequent traveler card and this branch was right by the airport bus terminal.
