Sichuan Earthquake An earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale struck the Chinese province of Sichuan on Monday. Thousands were killed, many more injured and widespread destruction is reported. The damage extends to the nearby provinces of Gunnan, Yansu and Chongqing.

Our family stayed here for 5 nights in April, 2008. The reports on TripAdvisor are correct, the rooms are spacious and it is good value for money. The price is great, we were unsure what to expect but 11 nights there and all I can say is THANK YOU TO ALL THE WONDERFUL STAFF. It was my best stay overseas yet. I loved every minute of it. Take your family, kids its a great place. more

During my business trip, I stay Conrad for 2 nights. When I walked in corridor, I feel some smody smell. The furniture location is a little bit strange. TV is in the left hand side, bed in the middle and there is an armchair in the right hand side. So, it is not possible to watch TV on the bed.... more
