My mum and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jardin Secret Hotel. This hotel was THE BEST hotel in Tibet - there was hot water, heating and a flushable toilet - all luxuries to Westerners...many other hotels lacked the necessities. Room was very spacious for my daughter and I. Bathroom was roomy, but water pressure was a problem...I only had luke warm water for shower...but this is Lhasa, 12,000 above sea level! Internet wasn't free, and connection was very slow. Breakfast was surprising fulfilling. . This hotel was within walking distance to Bokor Street and in the Tibetan shopping area.... more
