This was a near-perfect hotel experience and I would be very hard-pressed to find anything to criticize. The rooms are clean, the staff is prompt and helpful. Bell-boys are especially so. This was our second stay at the hotel. This is a charming replica colonial home in the Mexican/Spanish style and the rooms were spotless and well appointed. The food in the hotel's Italian restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced (great espresso, too!) Gloria, one of the managers, took very good care of us and was friendly, helpful and gracious.... more
