Good location, near the mall. The room is roomy, clean and looks as new. Very good breakfast. Front desk attendence very kind. Despite it´s business looking I recomend it for all kind of trip. It´s not near the touristic route but there´s a good neighbourhood. For eating I recomend "Perdiz" (it´s just two blocks away) with it´s typical barbecue. more

I haven't stayed anywhere else in Montevideo so have no point of comparison but I am somewhat surprised that Punta Trouville comes out top of the pile. I was a little disappointed on arrival - the river view not being what I'd expected (see attached photo) - and the room was smaller than in some other apartment hotels I've used.... more
