While Mogadishu may seem to be an unusual holiday destination, my wife and I greatly fear tourist traps. I must say, I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Nasa-Hablod. As an American, I was a bit hesitant when my wife suggested Mogadishu for our next vacation (of course, she always gets her way).
