Most people coming to North Korea will come with a tour group which will stay in one of two hotels for foreigners. I stayed in the Koryo Hotel, which was nice. The room was large and there was hot water and a T.V. which actually showed t.v. channels that are banned throughout the rest of N. Korea (BBC, CCTV etc.... more

Considering this is DPRK, this only is not too bad. Electricity and hot water works. TV works although only with BBC World western channel and few Chinese, Russian and North Korean Channels. Bring your own towels as the one provided are really small...... more

Hi, If you go to North Korea, you have little choice regarding hotels. This one looks very modern from the outside; but inside it is not very well maintained. My room had a marvelous view of the city and it allowed me to take nice pictures. The bath towels are very small but there is plenty of hot water. You... more
