We enjoyed our dinner. The menu is extensive, and quite a bit of fun to read. They also had a fairly extensive wine list. more

We stayed two nights at the HI Sofia. The Hotel is a modern, top of the line for Holiday Inn. The service was very good -- they called for taxis, made restaurant reservations, and made travel suggestions. There was always someone who spoke English readily available. The Lion Hotel is well placed for easy walk to the town centre. Its large rooms are comfortable and warm well it was 2 below and snowing outside, nice bathroom with all amenities. Large wardrobes. The restaurant served good value local food and the bar was well stocked. Staffs were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was just ok. Free wifi.... more
