I stayed at the Holiday Inn Select Managua for five days in November 2009. The hotel is comfortable and clean, though a bit worn on the edges. A seaoned traveller here a bit disorgaized before my trip to Nicaragua. E-mailed the hotel prior to my arrival for the usual " is it safe do you have hot water etc" and can you pick me up at the airport to my suprise got an email back in 20 minutes with all my questioned answered and low and behold... more

My wife and I arrived in Managua at 9pm from Houston and after quick passage through customs, we were happy to find the Barcelo shuttle bus waiting for us at the curb as promised.
