Arriving in Dubrovnik after 3 connecting flights and a bus, my husband and I were happy to discover that the location of our hotel was literally a 2 minute walk from the Pile Gate. A good, clean hotel with friendly staff and good service. The hotel was located out of the town but given the frequent bus service from a nearby stop this wasn't a problem. The buffet dinners were appaling. Breakfasts were all right. The service in the dining room was grudging. Our room was tiny and the bathroom smelt strongly of damp. more
