I visited this winery in November of this year. I enjoyed the tour and the best part was sampling about 10 wines at the end of the tour. For the Ukraine, this was just wonderful to walk into. It was as good/better than the website photos. Stayed on an upper floor with a large balcony for $300 night. Expensive for me, but worth it on a 1st date meeting for a 4 night stay. The hotel is right next to the Black Sea and has a serviced beach... more

In Yalta for the weekend and generally ate well - however Harem nearly killed me. The proprietor demanded a deposit to make a reservation (it was then full when we arrived at 8pm on a Saturday evening). Service was pretty Soviet and some weird policies - you can only buy (local sweet) champagne by the bottle and only by (local)... more
