Had a wonderfull 2 night stay at the modus which is touted as the best hotel in Varna and I can believe it. This spring was the first time I went to "Pobiti Kamani" / Petrified Forest as an adult. I'm surpried how difficult it would be for a non-native to find the place, since there's no signage in English. Will ask my dad which road it is west of Varna and post it. It's a truly marvelous place which you can explore... more
We stayed at the Modus for three nights. The rooms were modern, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good. We had dinner in the bistro on one of the nights and everyone in our group enoyed their meal, although it is a bit more expensive than other restaurants in Varna.
