Stayed at the Zimmerbrau in Jan. 2008 and, having been to Austria on numerous occasions, it was the worst hotel we ever stayed in. It is difficult to begin to describe how wonderful this hotel is. The lakeside location, the luxurious standard, and above all the brilliant management and staff. We discovered the Cortisen am See a couple of years ago while staying at the Weissen Roessl and decided that would be our choice on our next trip to Wolfgangsee. We could not have been more delighted! The hotel is beautifully decorated with Oriental carpets throughout, great, bold colors, interesting antiques and touches of ultra modern.
