We discovered the Cortisen am See a couple of years ago while staying at the Weissen Roessl and decided that would be our choice on our next trip to Wolfgangsee. We chose this hotel on the basis of a number of reviews as we were celebrating a special wedding anniversary. The hotel is in a wonderful location and the bedroom was kept scrupulously clean:so far so good ! Unfortunately, the dining arrangements were very poor. Stayed for 4 nights end Sept beginning Oct 09. Great room as promised in the reservation, very spacious with lovely views of the lakes & mountains. Facilities are 1st class, great sauna, nice lounge with free wi-fi. Even took advantage of the lake side "beach" across the (quiet) road infront of the hotel. Lake was warm to swim in even... more
