The hotel is wonderful and situated in the downtown of Guilin and cheap compared tho other european hotels of the same category. Staff is very kind, they can't speak english very well, but it is enough to communicate. The only big negative note is tha they try to cheat you (my experience shows that this is common on China). The scenery is very nice but the first part of the walk is very annoying. We can't get to hear the tour guide coz a bunch of pests keep on pestering us to sit their carriages 200RMB each pax.. We prefer to walk and take pictures but the annoying pests just don't respect our decisions and keep on following us..... more
