This must have been my 9/10th visit to this hotel, both as a family and as a solo traveller. Where do I start Rooms : The room I was in had recently been "refurbished", You couldn't have a shower or bath, you had to have both ! The water came out of both, with no control.one minute boiling hot, next... more

I was last here in June 2009 for a week, this time, just a fleeting visit , I was determined to return, it felt so good to be back. A wonderful greeting from Heidi and Greta and how lucky that the lodge was not busy in the run-up to Christmas when they are fully booked. I arrived in the evening... more
