We stayed at L'Oasis during SeptoOct 2009. We had planned a safari in several Tanzanian national parks plus a trip to Zanzibar. We stayed for 6 months ,it was wonderful . Food divine thanks to everyone and especially George.The hospitality and friendliness out of this world thanks to everyone and especially Mama Juliet and Bibi Willie. there are problably "better" hotel in arusha and somewhat better located ( near the city center and clock tower ), but those will be a 2 to 4 times more expensive ( $100+ to $ 200+ ) and certainly not as friendly and down to earth as the outpost. the outpost is a good value hotel, with the regular power... more
