Kalkan was beautiful-would thoroughly recommend going, however, it is becoming more and more popular with British tourists. Hotel on the over hand seemed to care about one thing only-MONEY. Nice enough place, lovely swimming area on the terrace which is lovely to watch the sun setting but it is not a 4 star hotel. Also avoid the bbq night as... more

fabulous food, location and staff. On our last night they put together a menu especially for us as we had eaten here every other night of our holiday. It is a must for any trip to Kalkan, preferably towards the start of your holiday as you will want to return more

Having left the Hell of Alatimya Village Kemer behind, we landed in Kalkan. A wonderful little fishing/sailing village and even more importantly the Pirat hotel. Reception was a pleasure and they made you welcome from the start. Prices off season, B/B were 100TL per room. Rooms were basic but had the basics to make you comfortable, air con, TV etc.... more
