Stayed for 2 nights end of June 2009, great hotel with an amazing maze of salt water pools...hotel staff were falling over themselves to make our stay comfortable...I had a standard room which had 2 huge queen beds in it and it overlooked the ocean....breakfast and dinner were all you can eat buffets in the main restaurant...didn't feel the need... more

We visited the Al Hamra fort Hotel & Resort for a day on July 3rd. We arrived at the hotel at 11 and found out that the place has 3 sections - The Resort (which is the main building), the villas (which are a spread out area closer to the beach) and the village (which is a little far off).... more

We just arrived back from Hilton RAK Resort and Spa after a lovely holiday and overall a good experience. I would not have any complaints as that would be unfair but I think that the hotel is not quite up to 5 star or comparable to those in Dubai.
