Good value and convenient location. Stayed here with my wife (who is also a colleague) on a business trip to Japan. We were really only there overnight, didn't go to the restaurant or anything, but found the hotel to be very clean and a goo bargain for a western style hotel in Japan. We stayed one night at the Toyama Tokyo Inn. Toyama is no great place in itself, but it is a good place to start the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine route, which I recommend taking – train, bus and cable car across the Alps.
