We went to Vakaru in April 2008, just before they closed down for reconstruction. Visiting Vakaru was the last step of our trip - and we came to Vakaru to get married. This was our third visit to the Maldives and the second to the Conrad Rangali. We used Hilton points to stay for 14 nights and were upgraded to a Deluxe Beach Villa (our preference as we stayed in both water villa and deluxe beach villa last visit).
