I was not sure what to expect with the quality of hotels in Russia but the Pribaltiskaya Hotel (Park Inn) was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were a good size, quite comfortable and clean. We just returned from a Viking riverboat cruise down the Volga that finished with a short stay at the St. Petersburg Novotel. This was a pleasant surprise as the riverboat was at best a spartan room. It was my first visit to Russia and I was surprised by the high level of service in Marco Polo hotel. I spent here 3 days and as for me it is rather nice place to stay at. I had a business category room which contained all necessary amenities. I liked design of the room , it was very elegant.... more
