I agree that some reviewers may be a little unfair to this hotel. It's certainly not a fancy Western-style hotel in any way. Don't expect beautiful bathrooms with marble counters, luxury accomodations, or even internet service (there is none). Staff is friendly, and some speak a little English. I have stayed at hotel Yuzhnaya for couple of days in single Comfort room. The interior is quite nice and renewed. There are fridge, LCD TV and king size bed in the room.
