I loved Hangzhou - much friendlier than Shanghai and more beautiful. This Holiday Inn was very popular with the discerning Japanese Businessmen. The Milan Fashion Hotel in HangZhou is a nicely decorated (if a little kitsch) and comfortable place. The room I had (Deluxe Single Room) was compact, yet well featured. I got a discount rate of 368rmb/night (about US$50-55) including 2 breakfasts. The ground floor restaurant/bar, off the lobby, has a good dinner menu and drinks selection.
