A lovely inn out in the country with gardens and sheep and lots of lawn and views. The owner and her helpers were super accommodating and very nice. Barsen House was the best B&B we stayed in during a weeklong tour around northern Vermont. You simply cannot find nicer accomodation, warmer hosts, or more attractive environs. I recommended this establishment to my parents, too. It's simply fantastic. more
The Barsen House Inn was the perfect romantic getaway for my girlfriend and I. We just returned from a three night stay at the Barsen House Inn and would highly recommend this small B&B to anyone. It is only three rooms so you get individual attention from Daphne and Pete. I still dream about this place. Stayed here with my husband during a leaf-peeping trip last fall. Neither of us are fond of the Victorian chintz-explosion look that so many B&Bs tend to have, and Whitford House was blessedly free of it.
